Law Education for Schools

Law Education for Schools programme takes place annually for our TY students  in the first term. This year’s programme took place for TY students from 17 – 20  October  2022. James Fahy BL delivered the programme. All students were given a unique insight into law.  Each year the tutor stages a full mock trial during the course of the module. Training in advocacy introduces participants to the art of persuasion, speaking succinctly and the skill of “thinking on one’s feet”. TY students had the opportunity to participate in a Mock Trial each afternoon in Ennis Court House.
Our TY students usually have the opportunity to visit the Criminal Courts of Justice as a follow up to this programme.
