BOI Money Smarts Challenge

The Bank of Ireland Money Smarts Challenge is a one day event designed in conjunction with Business Studies Teachers and Financial Wellbeing Experts to teach students how important good Financial Wellbeing is for their future lives. After learning about the importance of Financial Wellbeing students will put what they have learned on the day to the test by competing in an inter school challenge with the chance to win €15,000 for their school.

This  programme was introduced in 2019/20 replacing the BOI Bond Trader Challenge. For 2020/21 the competition moved online and for 2021/22 there will again be 5 virtual Regionals Finals. Schools can enter up to 3 teams of 4 students. Coláiste Muire is participating on 8 March 2022 and Mr. Donnellan is the co-operating teacher.
